Mobility fund: prosthetic leg for Iván in Valencia

I live with muscular dystrophy. My occupational therapist at the Valencia Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,700. My current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 6 weeks. With the right equipment I could speak with the people around him. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
