A fresh start in Augsburg: help the Hosseini family resettle
Help a family of 4 start their new life in Augsburg: furniture, rent deposit and language classes.

My family left Ethiopia 7 months ago after our home was destroyed. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Augsburg. We're a family of seven and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 3 months of rent, and that support ends in March.
I was an electrician in Ethiopia, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
Funds are managed by the Augsburg Welcome Table charity, a registered organization, which pays the landlord and suppliers on the family's behalf.
Where the $2,150 goes:
• Rent deposit and first month: $1,700
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $310
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $140
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Sending love. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I'm in customer support myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you!
Stay strong, Katharina. Looking forward to the next update. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Blessings.
Best of luck, Katharina. Hope this works out for you. Sent it to 10 people at work.
