The Shevchenko family fled Sudan - help them rebuild in Barcelona
Help a family of 5 start their new life in Barcelona: furniture, rent deposit and language classes.

My family left Sudan 9 months ago after we could no longer live safely. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Barcelona. We're a family of four and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 3 months of rent, and that support ends in November.
I was an electrician in Sudan, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent).
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $155
• Language classes and bus passes: $390
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $455
With deep gratitude,
Óscar
