A day in the garden: help Rachel in Johannesburg
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Rachel's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 78 and I have lived in this house in Johannesburg for 38 years. After the storm in June, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thanks for being kind about this.

wishing you peace, Rachel. Hope you get there. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Los Angeles.
Hang in there. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor in Melbourne donated after I showed her your page. Blessings.
Good luck, Rachel. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Love from Tiruchirappalli
best of luck, Rachel. I hope things turn around soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings.
