A day in the garden: help Christo in Johannesburg
Christo, 71, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we are looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 71 and I have lived in this house in Johannesburg for 49 years. After the storm in May, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
