Help Iryna keep the Bread & Beans Kitchen pantry stocked
Iryna runs a volunteer pantry feeding 172 families; this fund restocks shelves for the harvest gap.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Bread & Beans Kitchen every Wednesday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 29 families, and now we feed 172 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 36% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Saint Petersburg market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $850 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $400
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $320
• Baby formula and diapers: $130

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale) is the biggest at $400. I'll keep the page updated.
