We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a covered market stall space - we need $550 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Acacia community hall, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $550. It will serve about 332 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $550 goes: • Materials: $430 • Permits and inspections: $35 • Safety equipment and signage: $35 • Tools hire and delivery: $50 I hope life is good to you.
