A covered market stall space for Lotus Primary School: help our neighbors in San Francisco
Volunteers in San Francisco are raising $4,150 for a covered market stall space at Lotus Primary School.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 27 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Lotus Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $4,150.
It will serve about 91 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $4,150 goes:
• Materials: $3,100
• Permits and inspections: $250
• Safety equipment and signage: $410
• Tools hire and delivery: $390
