I'm Paweł, 17, in my final year of high school. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study public health.
I have a 3.9 average, I volunteer at a food pantry and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until January. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Thinking of you, Paweł. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
So sorry you're going through this, Paweł. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings.
