My delivery van: Yana's only way to earn a living
Yana drives for a living in Kyiv, and a broken rear axle has stopped all income for 5 weeks.

I make my living with my delivery van. 5 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $305. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $305 goes:
• rear axle replacement (parts): $170
• Labor charges: $70
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $60
• Towing and inspection: $5
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
