I'm Chhaya, 19, in Year 12. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study computer science.
I have a 3.7 average, I volunteer at my church youth group and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until September. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

So sorry you're going through this, Chhaya. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Love from Tlaquepaque.
Take care, Chhaya. Shared this with my family. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend!

hang in there, Chhaya. Hope you get there.
Good luck, Chhaya. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn
Good luck, Chhaya. Your post was clear and honest. After 29 years in logistics I know how hard it is to ask for anything. Thinking of Aurangabad.
Praying for you. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day
Best of luck, Chhaya. Gave what I could, wish it was more. All the best
