I'm Babu, 17, in Grade 12. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study biomedical science.
I have a top-of-class average, I volunteer at my church youth group and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until November. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.

It takes guts to ask. Well done. Sent it to 12 people at work
Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Dhaka.
Thinking of you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Put this on a community board in Sakai this morning.
Keep going, Babu. It takes guts to ask. Well done. All the best
