Nathan's knee replacement surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill

In June I was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst. My surgeon at Townsville Community Hospital recommended knee replacement surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for September. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $1,700, and after what my employer's plan will pay, I'm still $1,350 short.
Doctors at Townsville Community Hospital told me a large ovarian cyst will get worse without knee replacement surgery. I work as a security guard, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $1,700 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a security guard have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
The recovery period is expected to take about 5 weeks. I'll not be able to walk without help during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Nathan.
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. physiotherapy sessions is the biggest at $700.
