I coordinate donations at Sycamore Refugee Centre in Ludhiana. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Ludhiana, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Sycamore Refugee Centre on Sunday between 10am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Sycamore Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

So sorry you're going through this, Jagadish. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best.
Wishing you peace, Jagadish. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Greetings from Cox's Bazar
stay strong, Jagadish. I hope things turn around soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless
Hang in there, Jagadish. Shared it with a few friends. Wish I lived closer to Rosario so I could bring a meal
