Dennis is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a law degree at Eldoret State College, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $650. The registrar has said Dennis can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Dennis has a first-class average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Dennis would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Dennis isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Eldoret State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $650 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $180 • Final term tuition: $390 • Exam and lab fees: $25 • Textbooks and materials: $55 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Thinking of you, Onyango. Shared this with my family. After 18 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care.
