I coordinate donations at the Maple Mosque in Karachi. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Karachi, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Maple Mosque on Tuesday between 10am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Maple Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thank you for reading my story.

You're not alone, Fatima. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
Best of luck. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Gujranwala.
Wishing you the best, Fatima. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Blessings.
Stay strong, Fatima. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
Take care, Fatima. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Karachi
rooting for you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We're a small family in Epe but we're thinking of you.
