Surgery fund for Gabriel: ACL reconstruction in Coyoacán
A scheduled ACL reconstruction in December is out of reach without help covering $2,300 of the cost.

Gabriel was diagnosed with gallstones with repeated infections in October. The surgeon at Coyoacán Orthopedic Institute recommended ACL reconstruction, and He is scheduled for December. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $4,600, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $2,300 short.
my son has been in and out of Coyoacán Orthopedic Institute since October. The doctors say gallstones with repeated infections will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $4,600 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Gabriel struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Gabriel won't be able to stand for more than ten minutes, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
