I coordinate donations at the Sycamore Community Church in Rotterdam. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Rotterdam, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Sycamore Community Church on Thursday between 9am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Sycamore Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Rooting for you, Erik. It takes guts to ask. Well done. All the best.
Thinking of you, Erik. Your post was clear and honest. Greetings from Quezon City
Shared this with my family. I hope November is when things finally get easier. Take care.
Hope things get better soon, Erik. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 23 years in social work I know how hard it is to ask for anything. God bless.
Good luck, Erik. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Rotterdam.
