I coordinate donations at Harmony Women's Shelter in Jacksonville. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Jacksonville, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Harmony Women's Shelter on Sunday between 10am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Harmony Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

      • thinking of you and your family, Julian. Shared this with my family. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
