83 pairs of children's shoes for Acacia Refugee Centre
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at Acacia Refugee Centre.
🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya683 views
I coordinate donations at Acacia Refugee Centre in Kasarani. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Kasarani, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Acacia Refugee Centre on Wednesday between 10am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Acacia Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thanks for being kind about this.

good luck. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Thinking of Kasarani
I hope things turn around soon. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Osaka.
