I coordinate donations at the Jacaranda Mosque in București. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in București, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Jacaranda Mosque on Sunday between 10am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Jacaranda Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

  • You're not alone. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'll check back for the next update.

    • sending good thoughts, Mihai. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from London.

      • Wishing you peace. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better
