33 volunteers for the School Supplies Giveaway in Guadalupe

We're short of hands for the School Supplies Giveaway; can you spare a morning?

Every year the School Supplies Giveaway brings together 361 neighbors in Guadalupe. I help organize it with 6 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

  • Keep going. Gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Guadalupe.

    • Hope it all works out, Julián. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't give up

      • Hope things get better soon. Your post was clear and honest. Love from Knoxville.
