Domenico lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at Verona General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $5,800. His current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 10 weeks. With the right equipment Domenico could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $5,800 goes: • stair-climbing aid: $5,500 • First-year servicing plan: $145 • Fitting and training sessions: $155 Every share and every dollar helps.
