Every year the Free Bike Repair Day brings together 580 neighbors in Toledo. I help organize it with 8 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

  • Sending good thoughts. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Thinking of Toledo.

    • Thinking of you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I have a 8 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless!

      • Wishing you peace, Graciela. Great idea, hope you get there. Blessings.

        • Hang in there, Graciela. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. We're a small family in Tema but we're thinking of you. All the best.
