14 volunteers for the Free Bike Repair Day in Chicago
We're short of hands for the Free Bike Repair Day; can you spare a morning?
🇺🇸 Chicago, Illinois, United States909 views
Every year the Free Bike Repair Day brings together 479 neighbors in Chicago. I help organize it with 6 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
I hope life is good to you.

Best of luck. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Bogra
Hope you get there. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of Chicago.
