Osaka
Noboru lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Osaka Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $750. His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 6 weeks. With the right equipment Noboru could speak with the people around him. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $750 goes: • Fitting and training sessions: $260 • First-year servicing plan: $300 • Delivery and set-up: $190 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Masaru
