I'm a chess coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 660 kids fall in love with the game.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Zubair
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Zubair: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 2023. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Tokyo.
