I'm a sculpture artist based in Addis Ababa. I've been making things since 2003 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
I also teach a weekly class at Addis Ababa Print Workshop, which keeps me honest.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Zelalem
I've had 5 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Zelalem: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.

I bought one of your pieces in 2016. It's still the first thing I see in the morning. Greetings from Mapo.
