Zawadi Ruth Shayo
Glass art artist in Kinondoni
- 🇹🇿 Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- Little Kinondoni Studio
- 1982 to 2005
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in glass art, sometimes ceramics. My first show was in 1982 at Little Kinondoni Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the sea. I fix old bicycles.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
