Zawadi Fatuma Simiyu
Painter, potter and teacher at Kinondoni Print Workshop
- 🇹🇿 Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- Since 1978
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in photography, sometimes watercolor. My first show was in 1978 at Kinondoni Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I like to keep things simple and honest. My studio is always a bit of a mess.

I bought one of your pieces in 1995. It's still the first thing I see in the morning. Greetings from Kazan.
