Zawadi Grace Kiptoo
Classical player and teacher in Mombasa
- 🇰🇪 Mombasa, Mombasa, Kenya
- Mombasa Holy Cross Orchestra
- Since 1980
- English, Swahili
I play classical and tabla. I started in 1980 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
More about Zawadi
I write my first song when I was 20. It was terrible and I still love it.
