Nancy Wangari Mutua
Musician with Redwood Orchestra
- 🇰🇪 Kakamega, Kakamega, Kenya
- Since 1996
- English, Swahili
I play drums and accordion. I started in 1996 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 14 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm learning the guitar.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Nancy: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
