Zawadi Florence Mutebi
Sitar and oud teacher
- 🇰🇪 Likoni, Mombasa, Kenya
- Likoni Ensemble
- 1982 to 2005
- English
I play sitar and oud. I started in 1982 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Zawadi
I wrote my first song when I was 22. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Zawadi: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.

I still have the recording from that night at Likoni Ensemble. Greetings from Tokyo.
