Yumi Kudo
Mentor in recovery and law school
- 🇯🇵 Sakai, Osaka, Japan
- Meadowbank Community Trust
- Since 1979
- Japanese
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 2,300 people through Meadowbank Community Trust.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Yumi
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Yumi: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
