Yewande Halima Daramola
Self-taught oil painting artist
- 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
- Kano Print Workshop
- Since 1999
- English
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes textiles. My first show was in 1999 at Kano Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Kano Print Workshop, which keeps me honest.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
