Yewande Damilola Idowu
Woodcarving artist in Epe
- 🇳🇬 Epe, Lagos, Nigeria
- Epe Studio
- Since 1987
- English, Yoruba, French
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes glass art. My first show was in 1987 at Epe Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Epe Studio, which keeps me honest.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Yewande: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
