Yevhen Gleb Koval

Coached table tennis for 38 years in Saint Petersburg

  • 🇷🇺 Saint Petersburg, Saint Petersburg, Russia
  • Saint Petersburg Bamboo Swimming Club
  • Since 1988
  • English
For 38 years I've run the table tennis program at Saint Petersburg Bamboo Swimming Club in Saint Petersburg. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Yevhen

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
