Yetunde Comfort Uba
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Old Lagos Works
- Since 2014
- English, Yoruba
I've worked in blacksmithing since 2014. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 490 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Yetunde
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Yetunde: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
