I taught agriculture at Colombo Technical College in Colombo from 1983 to 1991. Most days I taught Year 10, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Yashodha
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
