Yakubu Tayo Odukoya
Sculpture artist in Asaba
- 🇳🇬 Asaba, Delta, Nigeria
- The Jacaranda Print Workshop
- Since 2009
- English, Yoruba, Spanish
I work mostly in sculpture, sometimes graphic design. My first show was in 2009 at The Jacaranda Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I try to remember everyone's name. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
More about Yakubu
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Yakubu: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
