Yakubu Olumide Daramola

Accounting and agriculture teacher, Gwagwalada

  • 🇳🇬 Gwagwalada, Abuja FCT, Nigeria
  • Gwagwalada Girls' School
  • Since 1982
  • English, Yoruba
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 44 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I've had 1,360 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Yakubu

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me accounting in 2021 at Gwagwalada Girls' School. I still remember the rainy sports day.
