Yakubu Lucky Ogunleye
Master of baking, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Ikeja Repairs
- Since 2011
- English, Igbo
I've worked in baking since 2011. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 410 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 12 years later for another job.
More about Yakubu
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Yakubu: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
