For 38 years I've run the wrestling program at İzmir Lincoln Athletic Club in İzmir. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Yağmur
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Yağmur: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
