Xiu Tian
Helping people break into engineering
- 🇨🇦 Calgary, Alberta, Canada
- Calgary Community Trust
- Since 1985
- English, Mandarin
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,850 people through Calgary Community Trust.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I sing in a choir.
More about Xiu
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.

You helped me get my first engineering job in 1994. I still have your notes. Truly.
