Coached dance for 24 years in Bakersfield
- 🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States
- Silverlake Athletic Club

I've coached dance at Silverlake Athletic Club since 2002. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ximena
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Ximena: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
