Lata H. Awasthi
Martial arts coach, Los Angeles Youth Club
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Los Angeles Youth Club
- Since 1987
- English
For 39 years I've run the martial arts program at Los Angeles Youth Club in Los Angeles. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Lata
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

You coached me in 2022. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Radom.
