Winnie Aisha Mwesigwa
Oud player and teacher in Kampala
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Kampala Victory Music School
- 1978 to 1989
- English, Swahili
I've played oud from 1978 to 1989, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 19 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I garden badly but happily.
What gifts mean to Winnie: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
