Coached badminton for 26 years in San Diego

I've coached badminton at Highland Football Club since 2000. Most of my players were between 9 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to William: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
