I coached rowing at Fort Worth Westbrook Youth Club from 1998 to 2006. Most of my players were between 10 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about William
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to William: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
