Wellington Paulo Fernandes

33 years teaching physical education in Recife

  • 🇧🇷 Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil
  • Meadowbank Grammar School
  • Since 2000
  • Portuguese
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 26 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I've had 1,040 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Wellington

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
